All Too Clear Film Premiere

<< Back to project list

In partnership with Georgian Bay Forever, the Georgian Bay Biosphere (GBB) hosted the world premiere of the documentary film "All Too Clear" in Parry Sound on August 10, 2024. This public event, open to 400 people, sold out! The documentary communicates the profound impacts invasive Dreissenid (zebra and quagga) mussels have had on the Great Lakes ecosystem. The screening of the highly engaging documentary helped to raise the public’s awareness of many of the key messages of ecosystem change that are communicated in GBB’s State of the Bay ecosystem health report (www.stateofthebay.ca), the Lake Huron LAMP, and the most recent State of the Great Lakes report. The documentary can now be streamed for free in Canada at www.tvo.org/programs/all-too-clear. The evening was opened and closed with songs from the Minwewe singers.
